3. He trusted God when he had to protect his kindred
4. He chose God’s blessings over man’s riches Genesis 14:18-24
5. He believed God would do what He said He would do. Genesis 15:1-6
6. He obeyed God immediately. Genesis 17:10, Genesis 17-23-27
7. Abraham was trusted with secrets. Genesis 18:1-33
8. Abraham loved God more than anyone or anything. Genesis 22:1-19, Hebrews 11:17-19
