Bethel Radio Show – 4-4-2018 – Going to Church, Difficult People, and Love

April 4, 2018

Today our hosts Tara Yerkey, Ben Kingston, Thomas Naes, and Todd Walters discuss these topics:

  1. Why do we go to church? Why can’t we just stay home and love God from our couch on Sunday?
  2. When it comes to neighbors, family members or co-workers (in other words, people you MUST be around and deal with regularly without a choice) can you be a Christian and just plain not like someone? Is it wrong to dislike people we are called to be witnesses to? How can we be Christ to difficult people in our lives?
  3. Love: Matthew 5:38-42 – “38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.”
