Today Pastor Ben Kingston shares with a message encouraging us to evaluate and pursue spiritual maturity, Christ-likeness.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Phillippians 3:12-14 KJV

• Your spiritual maturity glorifies God
• Your spiritual maturity provides evidence your salvation is genuine
• Your spiritual maturity adorns and makes visible the truth of God to others
• Your spiritual maturity provides assurance of salvation
• Your spiritual maturity preserves believers from sorrow and suffering of spiritual immaturity
• Your spiritual maturity protects the cause of Christ from reproach
• Your spiritual maturity provides joy
• Your spiritual maturity equips you for ministry to others
• Your spiritual maturity enhances your witness to the lost world

How to become mature.

1. Be aware of your current condition
2. Give maximum effort to this pursuit
3. It will require focused concentration
