A Look At The Biblical Approach To Children

Pastor Ben Kingston shares a message to prepare us for Vacation Bible School week. Jesus suffered the little children to come to him. Matthew 19:13-15 and Matthew 18:2-6.

In my humble opinion, there is one reason and one reason only that a Church dies, and that is because they refuse to carry out the great commission to whatever context that may look like in their community and in my opinion, reaching all ages for Christ is the answer.

1. A look at the biblical approach to children

a. Suffer the little children to come

b. Childlike faith

c. Adultlike patience

d. Purposeful seed planting

e. Love is a choice

2. How do we proceed as parents

a. The Deuteronomy passage (Deut. 6:1-9)

3. How do we proceed as a church

a. Make children the proper priority that they should be not more important than anyone else, but as important as anyone else.

b. Let's give the best VBS experience

c. Fill your car trunk bring your neighbors to church and ultimately to Christ

d. Put your armor on every morning
