We start off with the VBS 2026 Closing program. Then, Pastor Ben Kingston shares why we need effort in our Christian life.

1. Effort alone can change outcomes

a. What is right in front of you right now that you know you should be doing on a positive level

b. What is in front of you right now that you know you should stop doing

c. What is in front of you right now that you don’t have a clue as to how to address it, but you feel called to tackle it

2. Effort with thoughtful prayerful guided direction can change trajectory 

   a. If you cannot identify a time where you are seeking God’s face in this particular area, you are kidding yourself

   b. Be specific

   c. Record answers

   d. Instant obedience to the initial prompting of the Holy Spirit will supercharge the correct trajectory in your life

3. Directed effort with passion can draw others to the movement

a. Share God’s movement in your life

b. Recruit others to pray for you

4. Directed passionate effort that causes others to follow can change the world you live in

a. If you do not feel qualified to lead them, seek the Lord and allow him to equip you

b. Fuel the need for change by recognizing the need that already exists
